From immunizations to medication planners, Davis Drugs is here to meet you and your family's needs.
Marshall and Alberta Davis purchased the previously operated Keller Drugs in June of 1981
and thus began the Davis Drugs in Paducah legacy. Together with 2 or 3 employees, we set out to provide the best possible Pharmacy services in the area. The Davis’s and their staff now include 4 pharmacists and 30 employees. (one of those first employees, Margaret, is still on the schedule)
Over the years Davis Drugs has strived to stay current with the technology and service providing the best prescriptions results possible.
In 1984 pharmacy computer automation was added to help maintain patient profiles,
medication inventory, and help with insurance billing.
In the late 1990’s Marshall Davis received certification in immunization to provide this
convenient option of having immunizations administered in the pharmacy setting.
Davis Drugs added a drive-thru window in the early 2000’s for the convenience of
patients. As an added convenience and for homebound patients, Davis Drugs has
maintained a delivery service to more easily connect with their patients also supplying home health aids in Paducah.
With the growth of the business, pharmacy dispensing automation was added in 2007.
The automated dispensing system helps maintain efficiency and accuracy in the pharmacy department.

Retail pharmacy has always been her preferred area of work, it allows her to have a more personal ‘face-to-face’ communication with patients/friends, helping them through their healthcare ups and downs. Beverly is proud to a part of Davis Drugs family where she is always available to discuss any aspect of your healthcare journey.

Marshall W. Davis
Marshall is owner pharmacist of Davis Drugs. Marshall is a lifelong resident of Paducah,
Attending Paducah Tilghman High School, PCC(Wt. KY. Tech), University
of Kentucky. Marshall graduated from University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in 1976
and has practiced pharmacy continuously since that time. Marshall has a broad base of pharmacy experience, working with retail, long-term care, and institutional pharmacy.
His favorite practice area is retail pharmacy as it provides the ability to interact with patients
and practitioners in many unique ways. From helping solve medication problems to providing immunizations for a mission trip.
“One of my favorite stories;was being able to help a longtime friend who presented with classic symptoms of diabetes. After his inquiry I was able to direct him to the emergency room for follow-up treatment. This type of interaction with patients is the reward I receive for my efforts as a pharmacist.”
Marshall resides in Paducah with his wife Alberta. He enjoys time with his son, daughter, two grand-children and grand-dog,
Edwin is a staff pharmacist at Davis Drugs in Paducah, KY. He has been a practicing pharmacist in the Paducah area for over 37 years. Edwin attended Paducah Tilghman High School, former Paducah Community College, and obtained a pharmacy degree from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. After graduation, Edwin returned to Paducah and took over Albritton’s Pharmacy, the family business that his grandfather opened in 1924. Edwin operated Albritton’s with the same principles as his family predecessors before him which was to provide loyal service and compassion to his customers. In 1993 Edwin closed Albritton’s Pharmacy a Paducah institution for over 60 years and began working for a chain pharmacy. At the time of closing Edwin continued caring for his customers as he assisted his customers with the transition of transferring from Albritton’s Pharmacy to Davis Drugs where he was confident that Marshall Davis would take care of his customers in the manner they were accustomed, which was with respect and putting their needs first. Upon completing his career with the chain pharmacy, Edwin returned “home” to Davis Drugs. Working at Davis Drugs has allowed Edwin to return to the aspect of a profession that he loves which now allows him the opportunity to have a one-on-one conversation with the customer, along with the ability to listen and discuss their needs. At Davis Drugs, the customer’s needs are the priority as they are not just a number that is rushed in and rushed out. Edwin takes great pride working at Davis Drugs where he considers the staff and customers his friends and part of an extended family. Edwin resides in Paducah with his wife, Debbie, and loves to travel to visit his four children and four grandchildren.
